In July of 2025 I wanted to change my hairstyle up because I was getting married in October and felt like my hairstyle at the time was a little dull. I was considering a modern mullet and did a little bit of research online for shops near me that could do both tapers and scissor work. I checked google, social media, and found a few places, but none of them seemed right. I decided to ask ChatGPT for recommendations, and that’s when it told me about Erstyl. From my first appointment, I knew this was the place for me. My first appointment was with Alex, and she’s so sweet and does amazing scissor work. But I’ve been seeing Marino ever since as he handles both scissor work and tapering with an unmatched expertise. Following my modern mullet experiment, Marino and I had a consult about a style that would work for me moving forward, with my head shape, facial structure, etc., and one that would look great for the wedding. This man just gets it. He not only completely transformed the shape of my head, but gave me a style that was flattering for me and easy to work with. Marino and Erstyl are building something really special, and it’s an honor to have a stylist/barber who I can trust completely every time. Including some pics below for reference. Thank you guys!!!

Erstyl is a superb men’s salon, much more than your typical barber shop. The stylists are extraordinarily talented and provide top-notch cuts. My last few cuts have been from Alex, and I couldn’t be happier. She asks the right questions and then takes the time to listen and discover exactly what I want. And then she performs the cut with care and precision, and it comes out fantastic. Erstyl is a keeper.
